Hi guys,
I just got a call from my buddy and EBMM endorsee Mitch Merrett and it seems that some between July 18th and today July 26th their band storage locker was broken into and the following EBMMs of his were stolen:

1x Dargie Delight Albert Lee SSS DD AL: G21671
1x Dargie Delight Silo Spc SSS DD Silo Spec: G32246
1x Axis Super Sport is a Natural, standard bridge, HH. G26487
1x Silhouette Bass 'burst Silo Bass: G30077
1x Y2D Y2D: G30707

there was also a blk LP custom w/gold hardware, a blk Gibson "Billy Joe" model, Thinline Montana Gibson acoustic, a beat up old Tak, and a S&P nylon string.

thanks in advance for keeping an eye out for the guitars.

best,
Pete

That bites!

The good news is that the Dargies will get them caught as there are only so many of them.:mad:

Very sad news.

If one of the serial numbers should show up on eBay, or elsewhere for sale, who should we contact?

Pete, sorry to hear that happened to Mitch, that really does blow. I'll keep my eyes peeled, you guys are right about the Dargies. But I bet they don't show up for a while.

A banned forumite got a black Silo stolen from him and I happened to recognize it on EvilBay a few weeks ago. It had been missing like 6-9 months. They changed the plate out with this stupid looking machined "G". Needless to say I contacted the forumite and he turn the cops onto them and the EvilBay auction was pulled.

I hope Mitch gets his stuff back. Glenn |B)

That blows. If they aren't caught, then I hope they can enjoy the guitars during their stay . . . in HELL.

Were they insured? Not that DD's are replaceable.

I have to say that I am quite d'accord with some middle eastern/north african traditions where thieves get their hand chopped off...
I hope these bastards get caught and Mitch gets his stuff back in the original state.

Hopefully, when they try and off-load one of the Dargies, they'll be caught. At which point we can call for their public flogging.

Bad idea - they need both hands to stamp license plates... I'd take the chopping a bit south, personally...
