I think technically it's "pee-ay-zo" (look up piezoelectric effect on an online dictionary), but I always hear people say "pie-zo", which is what I say.

Piezo...how do you pronounce it

Is it like "pie-zo" or "pee-ezo"...the answer to this question may make me feel stupid about the conversation I had with a guy my local EBMM dealer yesterday

Well I say it is pea-zow but I think that is a Texas pronunciation!
All I know on acoustics I have palyed with a piezo it is great can not wait to try it on on my new EBMM!

I used to call it "pee-ay-zoh" like how it would be pronounced in Spanish, but everyone seems to say "pie-zoh", like a piece of pie...zo here at the factory so it caught on.
