Hi- I am new to this forum and I would love to buy an Axis, but no lefties! C'mon guys. I know there aren't many lefty players by comparison to righties, but how about making some premium guitars for the underdog. I'd pull a Hendrix and flip a axis over but the way the body is designed would limit upper fret axess. I don't want the super sport or sport , I want the Axis, with the Floyd Rose.
I don't understand why quality guitar makers rarely offer there priemium models only in righty and there lesser models in lefty (with very limited options). Especially in the case between the axis and axis sport, they are soo similiar. PRS does the same thing. Gibson seems to be the only company that offers their top models in lefty.
Not all us lefties are cheapos, Ernie Ball should exploit this under-represented market. BTW been using your Strings for about 25 years, the best rock strings ever made.
How about it , a one off...lefty axis :)

i feel your pain man, i too am left handed. althought when i first decided to play guitar i noticed about how almost nothing is availible in lefty and if it is all the options are slim to none. so when i first started playing i decided to learn righty and i've played righty ever since. 5 years now. i guess now that i look at it, being a lefty and fretting with my left *dominate* hand seems more ligical anyhow. so i guess the righty method should actually be the lefty method in my opinion. damn thats weird

Lefties

Sorry about the availability of the left-handed models. Although I can't help you out getting one, I did want to let you know that the Axis Sport model that was mentioned has been discontinued. Thanks.

hey sothpaw, i think the reason EB doesn't offer a lefty axis is cause theirs not many manufacturers producing a lefty floyd rose bridge. in fact, i can't think of even one, nor have i ever seen one. you can get a super sport though with hardtail or vintage tremelo. super sport isn't a lower model with less options. i own a super sport and a regular axis and the quality and crafstmanship is purely equal between the two. if you think about it the super sports actually have more options because of optional peizo and it has 5-way switching unlike the axis which has 3, and it has a tone knob which the axis does not either.
