My beautiful fretless SR4 stays upstairs in our home. Having no air conditioning (just a ceiling fan) and being in the heat, I've been told different things regarding day-to-day storage. Some say keep it in the case but don't lock it. Some say leave it out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!! :)

I think it's big quick changes that are bad, like going from an air conditioned room straight to an outside gig in the 90's. Or a cold car to a well heated room, stuff like that. I could be wrong, I was once was back in 64.

Hey man the best thing you could do is to send it over here to me in Ireland,we dont have seasons like the rest of the world,it stays pretty much the same all year round ie winter is cold and wet and summer is a just bit warmer and wet!!

I will take really good care of it for you and will play it everyday!!:D

What sort of ambient temperatures and humidity are you looking at? 80's, 90's 100's?

The temps get up to about 90. I have a jar with some "Damp Rid" type of stuff (the little pellets that act as a mini dehumidifier) which seems to work well. So the humidity seems pretty stable - not too dry or wet.

Thanks!

DTG - I would send it over, but I spoke to the bass and it is afraid to fly and gets sea sick. Otherwise, I would have sent it straight away! Really!!! :):D:)

Hey DJ

Do you take the batteries out of the ones you aren't going to use for awhile?

Sorry about the threadjack...

I Probably should but I don't, I only had one 9Volt leak on my which turned out to be a Mess but so far that was it, If I only had like 20 i was storing then I probably would.DJ
