I usually use the "Not Even Slinky" strings on my RGD-321.
I switched to Cobalts a month ago.
I ordered some 24 wound as a replacement for the 24 plain.
Q1: Is the 24 wound the proper size for the 3rd string in this gauge, or should I get something bigger (I've had no real issues so far excepting a resonance between my 5th and 3rd strings when the 3rd is played open).
Q2: More important, how do I store the individual strings until I need them to prevent (for lack of a better term) decay?
I've heard various ideas like:
A) just in their sleaves
B) in a ziplock bag
C) in the freezer
D) A and C
E) B and C
Thank you for your help.
