Strange Hole in Axis With Floyd Rose

I was working on some cleaning and string changing with my Axis Rosewood when I found this hole on the top of the guitar just underneath/center of the Floyd Rose...does anybody knows what is this for?

Maybe it's for locating on the CNC Machines, but I'd guess usually the Locating Holes would be in Areas that are later cut away.
Did you buy the Guitar new?
Might also be for the Piezo Wires, if it ever had a Piezo Pickup

I´ve been looking for some info...now I know mine is not the only one...but still nobody give the proper answer to the mistery hole...
