i've found in a local dealer in LYON (FRANCE)
big official dealer in this town !!!!!!!
a luke black sparkle in stock (not a used guitar)
they have it in stock since 6 years
the strings are oxidized
the arms of the vibrato is not the original
the neck is out of order the end of frets exceed of the neck and they are not at the same height a lot of buzz fron 12th to 16th frets
probably due to a bad storage in a warm and dry ambiance
they have been adjust by a luthier but it's not resolve the problem

the seller want the price of a new guitar in new condition and say that it was impossble to have a new neck

i can't immagine to let this rare model in this state was good
if it was in mint condition with a new neck and a just price I would buy it well

if BP or BETH can help me I would be very Happy

thank you

Sounds a good find - the problems with the frets are not difficult to put right.
It goes by the name of fret sprout and happened to one of my guitars many years after it was built. It happened because I had a more efficient heating system installed which made the air drier. It was sorted in minutes by a Pro Guitar builder - cost me about 1 hour of his "Bench time" .

See if he will do a deal - maybe knock a chunk off so you can get it set up.
You will be able to get a new tremelo arm no problem from EB.

I don't think that it will need a new neck - just a bit of love and attention.

Remember the new price 6 years ago was a lot less than it is now.
Go for it !!

Edit
I've just noticed that you have repeated your thread - you have two the same.
It would be best for you to delete the other one?

Hi Luke69,

Please get in contact with anyone at High Tech, our French distributor. They have a very experienced luthier on hand (they also build Vigier guitars) and will be able to help you get it set up and cleaned up. If they cannot repair the neck, you can arrange with them for a purchase of a new one.

I've tried this Luke and it's really a shame to play a guitar in that condition

And the dealer says it's new and all stock but obviously the trem arm is not :(
