What do you think? What's better for the 2008LE?

Sure, I know, it's too early to tell, but hey...I'm a Fanboy! :p

I was thinking the same thing.

Great minds think alike. I would never spend a ton of money on one of those moody straps, but then again I'm a loyal user of the good old DiMarzio Cliplock. Can't wait to see what a JP6 looks like in that Rootbeer Burst.

+1. But hey, it's your guitar. I you want it, do it! It will look great, even if the guitar falls on the ground.:D

That's why I'm anxiously awaiting the EBMM strap locks. Plus, I don't like having the plastic bits of the Cliplock system anywhere near the finish. I know it's usually not a problem. I've had them before, and things were fine. I have just preferred having a regular strap and strap locks to the ClipLock. On my ClipLock, I had to re-tighten the ClipLock screw every so often. Never had that issue with my Schaller strap locks.

Out of curiosity, is the screw on the DiMarzio ClipLock the same size as the EBMM screw?

The second.

For a moment there, I thought that Foggy had decided on his second EBMM!!

I got all excited as well. Hmm, doesn't take much I suppose. :D

I think both of the straps look pretty good, although I'd wait to see the whole guitar before I jumped on one in particular.

Damn, I'm missing out on so many great topics here on the forum because I have virtually no free time since I started recording my album.
The 2008 LE color is awesome!!!

Cliplocks come with two sets of screws now , neither which are the same size as the MM screws, the MM screws are longer. i use the 'silver' screw the black ones are recommended for Ibanez's i believe.

i have never had to retighten the screws on guitars made of wood rather than cheapo 'wood' so on a MM you will be fine!

Yeah, the screws on the cliplock aren't the same size as the MM screws. What I did when I put my Cliplock on my JP6 is I just used the screws from the JP.
