Strap Lock question

I've been using a set of black EB strap locks on my sting ray 5er for a few months now and they have worked great until recently. For some reason, the buttons on one of the locks seems to stay pressed in, which means it is frozen in the unlock position. I ended up using good old duct tape for my show last night, but its not nearly as pretty!

Just wondering if there is a way to depress the buttons so I can get it working again!
