Hello. :) Not quite sure if this is the right forum, but.
So anyhow, I bought a set of locks for my fender, right. I have them on now, the screw bit I put into the guitar is tight and super snug and everything, but the part where I snap the strap on and off, well, it's a bit jiggly. I'm just wondering if it was supposed to be that way, or no? I have the Schaller(sp?) brand ones.

I'm just not sure, so anyone's take will be helpful. ;) I know I didn't explain things very well, but I'm hoping someone understands what I mean.
Thanks either way, Alisha

hi there....well it sounds like the holes need to be drilled out if the screw is too tight.

Ok, there's a button that goes on the guitar that gets screwed in. That button shouldn't jiggle.

Then you bolt the other piece onto your strap. That should be very snug, no jiggle or play. Make sure you use the washer that came with it, otherwise the bolt won't jave enough strap to bite into and will come loose.

When you mate the 2 pieces (i.e. attach your strap to the guitar), a slight bit of jiggle is ok. As long as each side is securely bolted/screwed, you're ok.
