All,

I have a Fender Lite Ash Stratocaster and a Fender Showmaster FAT HH. I am looking for a good reliable set of strings. I play through a Boss ME-50 and a '72 Fender Twin Reverb. I mainly play worship stuff (Hillsong, Paul Baloche, etc). No drop tunings for me. I have used Blue Steels before, Boomers, Fender Super Bullets, and Pure Blues, always standard 10s. I find my Lite Ash a bit bright and my Showmaster a bit muddy, so I guess I need a suggestion for dark strings for my Lite Ash and bright strings for my Showmaster. I play in Florida, so longevity (resistance to corrosion) is a necessity. My guitars are set up with floating tremolo and "graphtech everything", with locking tuners on both. Anyways, I just want to sound good and have reliable strings. Tell me what you think. Thanks!

What's up Twin?? Welcome to THE forum!
I was stoked to read your post. I just saw Paul Baloche a couple weeks ago in Austin. Good stuff man! Anyway .. here's a suggestion for your string inquiry.

I would try our Regular Stainless Steel sets. They are a 10-46g set. You mentioned wanting something that might have more longevity and bring some brightness. Ding ding ding!! What do we have for him Johnny!!!

For real though .. definitely try those out. They are part #2246 ;)

I just bought 12 packs 10-46 slinkies. Thanks for the help, but the buy in bulk for $3.16/pack sold me. Thanks to everyone who helped me.
