does ernieball sell bass strings in the boxed sets like they do for guitar strings. they in sets of 12 packs or something like that. i think it would be really easy, and maybe cheaper to just get a box of strings instead of a pack at time.

Boxes of BASS strings

Hey,
I was with a signed punk act in the 90's and our manager set something up with EB. I was getting a box of 10 sets for $100. I don't know who he kissed to make that happened.

Well I'm to lazy to email them about this - so when one of you gets an answer please post!

Of course, I could have just emailed them about them instead of posting this....crap. :(

We do not sell our strings direct to the public. We only sell to authorized dealers and distributors. By the way, everyone should check out the San Luis Obispo scion stop.

ok i got a hold of tyler from customer service and he got me the answer. he said they only sell boxes to retailers( as stated by dargin), but what he also said is that after they are sold to the retailer they can sell them however they wish. if you are friends with a dealer you might ask them to sell you the whole box, if the retailer wishes to do so. if not your stuck buying individual packs. he also said that hes heard of guitarists doing this but he has not heard of bassists doing this.
