As I newbie but love my Axis what am i doing wrong,keep getting strings breaking usually 1st.I,m using 9,s with 2 springs on the Floyd.the action is superb.could it be I,m locking the strings too tight at the block causing them to snap.thanks for your help guys..

well most they break around the block to neck pick-up,have to say its not as if its every time I play sometimes they last a good while.just mine seems to break more than my mates Gibson

Hey Argus-

It's important to know where they break as it could be a bunch of things. Over-tightening the blocks, burr on the saddle, picking too hard, etc. So you've got to figure out where this is happening repeatedly so you can figure out how to prevent it.

You've got a totally different guitar and probably play differently than your mate, so it's tough to say what's going on off-hand ...
