Question string gauge

I'm thinking about changing my string gauge from 10's to 11's on my bfr 6 string. Can I do this without having to tune down? I play my strings hard and I want to be able to feel the bite of my strings under my pick.

Hello

If you change the string gauge, you will have to :

• adjust the truss rod because the tension on the neck wil be different (but that now you know how to do it )
• adjust the intonation. Perhaps it's not needed, you have to check with a good tuner.
