I want to change out the 10s on my Majesty for 09s. Will screw adjustments on the trem claw be enough, or will I need to remove a spring as well?

Thanks

Jon

..likely just back out the term claw screws a turn or 2 and u should be set. Tune, look at trem level, eyeball, adjust accordingly... its really pretty straight forward.

I just replied to a relevant thread:

I went further than you down to Extra Slinky 008-038 and this was a labour of love; be really patient. I did not find my change to be anywhere near pretty straight forward! I had to remove the middle spring and make lots of simultaneous adjustments of saddle screws, claw screws, tuners and a few truss rods tweaks. My new Majesty had really high action (for me) and the standard Extra Slinky strings. I just left the rear plate off for over a week as it took over a week for the guitar to settle down; it's truly amazing now and well worth the effort.
