String guage on Axis SS?

Just curious what some of you forumites use for string guage on your Axis SS guitars? I know they ship with 9s, but I'm considering bumping up to 10s. I'm wondering if heavier guage strings might make the guitar too dark tonally. Anyone else here use 10s on your Axis SS?

I'm using on my Music Man Guitars (Luke 2 and Axis Super Sport)10/46 Ernie Ball Strings, this fatened the sound and are more playable than the thin 9/42 !
