Hey guys,

sorry to be bothering you guys with these frustrating tech problems.as most of you know by now i have a BFR JP6 for almost 6months now.even though its a beautiful guitar, tone, playability feel etc i have had aslight problem with string buzzing where mainly the G-string doesnt ring out clearly and causes buzzing also that comes through my amp.at certain points on the neck when i fret the G string it just doesnt feel right or ring properly.i posted a thread afew months ago about this and i got some new strings on it recently(RPS9-42) to see if a fresh set of strings would sort out my dillema but its still seems to be buzzing and not ringing clearly like it should and kinda feels flat at certain points on the neck

Ive tried to make small adjustments to the truss-rod but it doent seem to make any difference.

What do you guys think i should do?

why dont you contact your dealer? I really try to understand why people think that asking blind advice on a forum from strangers is going to help. Every thread that hppens well meaning people give the wrong advice. Seriously....there is always at least one post that is so wrong it just makes things worse when we finally et to do something about it.

Please pretty please contact your dealer.

Good intentions when posting can many times end up way "screwed up"!!

If you're like me, I think many of us hate to complain about an issue in the first place; this is "our" company and friends here at Ernie Ball, the last thing I want to do is complain!

And, in addition, we certainly don't want to depart with our guitars for a while. So, I think there is a tendency to post to "get some feedback" and perhaps resolve this without bothering CS.

However, I totally agree with BP, we MUST contact the dealer and let them be the intermediary with EB, without posting the issue first.

Well, I hope this doesn't screw anything up! Bring the hammer down if I did.

It is just that you need to keep in m ind you are asking complete strangers to give you a correct diagnosis without them having the benefit of seeing the guitar and in many cases not enough expertise to give a proper diagnosis...then the owner of the guitar starts fixing the instrument per the strangers suggestion and it gets screwed up worse and then we have much more work to make what is usually something very small

colin no problem it is just in my signature and I cannot explain enough that sometimes well meaning people will give advice withour the benefit of seeing the guitar and things get really sideways.... Plus this forum would suck if all threads were minor customer service threads.
