I bought a pack of Ernie Ball Super Slinky 2223. The problem is
the string on the 11 has 2 strings tied on the little circle end but the
9, 16, 24, 32, 42 has only 1 string on the little circle end.

I'm just wondering if this is supposed to be like that or a
factory defect.

Mods please help.

HI Crazy Flip,

Is the extra winding on the b string your reffering to bronze colored? If so you just happened to get an RPS-Single in your pack. RPS stands for reinforced plain string. I'm actually glad this came up....RPS strings are one of the coolest sets we offer!! They have an extra winding of bronze wire at the ball end(patented) This helps to prevent string breakage and slippage as well as lasting longer and staying in tune better than conventional strings.

Try them out and let me know what you think guys......

Where exactly are you located? And who did you purchase the set from? It sounds like you probably purchased a counterfit set....as our ball end machine's combined with an extensive quality control department ensure prevent mistakes such as that from happening. Do you have a picture of the packaging?
