I let my string ray set up for a couple of weeks, and then I changed the strings. After I changed the strings, I notices the bass seemed to be only putting out half the volume before. I changed the battery, but to no avail. Any thoughts, please

what kind of strings were on the bass, and what did you put on in their place? If you went to a much less magnetically responsive string, you'll get a volume drop off. Also if you went to a lighter gauge, you also may experience volume drop off.
