Question String recommendation

Hey all....I am wanting to tune to drop C and I asked Koogs what string size...he recommended 12's, but, was not sure. He does not really play by any rule of thumb and is always thinking outside the box...lol

He tunes his Pet with 10's to C....but, he said he had to do a set up. But, that is him and I am thinking I need to go with a bigger gauge. He thinks so as well.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think any time you drastically change your string gauge like that, you'll need to do some fine tuning with the set up. " EB Not Even Slinky's" are the way to go. The Range 12-56. Good luck.
