Hello Guys!

This is my very first post!

I live in Italy and recently I saw a German website advertising a new MM Stingray with the old bridge assembly (mutes) with the string-through-body feature! The bass seems brand new and comes with a natural finish...

I know that the NAMM 100th Anniversary bass has this feature, but I'd like to know if Ernie Ball is going to regularly reissue te beloved Stingray with the full "vintage" spec (STB, non-contoured body, alnico Pu's etc...), as, for example F*nder does with its products... Certainly those will be very pleasant news for people that want a simil-vintage bass without the hassle of a 25 years old instrument...

Can someone confirm this or it's only a fake?

Regards,

Well.. I would not call it "hassle", but more like "MOJO".. :D I own both EB's and Pre-EB SR's, but I must admit, that none of my EB basses really gets close to my Ms. Feb. 77' SR.. It has simply got to much vibe.. Oooh yeah, you might have to be gentle to her and change the frets, so what... :p

I have another early 77 forsale if you could be interested, which is located in Denmark.. Not to far away from Italy.. Send me an email if you could be interested...
