Stringing my guitar

I have a problem I have just bought new Ernie strings but I am not sure how to string my guitar because the new strings have copper loops at the end of them and I have never seen strings like this before PLEASE HELP

What kind of strings have you been using??? Dont they ALL have loops at the end to be held in place? What kind of guitar do you have? If it's one with a Floyd then I guess you gotta cut em off since it wont fit inside. More details please about the situation.
