:confused:hi everyone
can any one help me with the following proplem and is it something that i can resolve myself when i adjust my string height lets say on my g string it then gives me fret buzz on my a and e strings and vise a versa as i am tring to lower the string height it is defeting my objective the bass is about 3 months old and has just settled down the neck appears to be straight but the string height is to high i am going to put a medium gauge set off strigs on the bass and once i have done this i want to reset the bass

Sounds to me that the neck needs to be adjusted. If you don't feel comfortable doing it your self, then I recommend taking it to a pro.

I'd say put the med guage strings on first, then adjust afterwards.

be carefull though, you don't want to over adjust. Just make 1/4 to 1/8 turns at a time. Do you play in standard E tuning?
