Hello earthlings, I must address you concerning some technical difficulties with my strings and tuning problems.

When I play E standard I never have any problems at all, but when I tune to D standard, the strings start to feel very loose and sound inarticulate. How can I fix this?

My strings are "Coated Electric Titanium RPS Not Even Slinky" gauge 12 - 16 - 24p - 32 - 44 - 56

I pretty much only play Metal, with plenty distortion, but I never have these problems in E standard

Some string brands have higher tension so you should try out various brands/version, but yes as mentioned mother nature is brutal.

There really is no need to try other brands if you like Ernie Ball strings. You just need to go to a higher tension. You can't tune to a lower tuning and have the strings feel remotely the same as they do in E standard.
