Can anybody recommend a good string size for c# tuning (down 1 1/2 steps)?
I normally use super slinkys for standard and drop-d, but when I go down 1 1/2 steps I lose my tone. I've heard 10's or 11's will have more tension at dropped tunings. Does anybody like power slinky's. I compose heavy rock/industrial music.
I have a Gibson Les Paul studio 2005. Any ideas would be great!

For tuning that low, I'd try the "Not Even Slinky" strings... they go from 56 to 12. You may need to widen the slots in your nut, though.

And trade in that Les Paul for an Axis. ;)

I have one of JP's in a "C" tuning and use 11's. The JP is set up and works really well with this tuning. Stays in tune and the tone is wonderful........and get an Axis, Petrucci, Silo, SUB, AL, or LUKE. ;)
