Just bought a vintage Earthwood Acoustic Bass.
I'm wondering if the Earthwood Acoustic Bass Strings are:
- the recommended strings,
- are long enough for the large instrument size,
- if you have to special order strings from EB for the Vintage Earthwood.
One way or another I'm going to have to order them due to my location.
So, best to know in advance.
If any vintage Earthwood Acoustic Bass Owners or EB could fill me in, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

The bass is huge, but it has a standard 34" string length so you will have no trouble finding strings that fit. I've never had trouble with mine.

Thanks kungfusheriff.
Very good to know. I'm still waiting on delivery, so don't have it in my hands yet.
I also heard from Kevin S. at Ernie Ball.
He indicated that EB recommends the #2070 Earthwood Acoustic Bass Strings.
These are light gauge.
Again, thanks. Mark
