Hey maybe you all can help me....
On my old LUKE with a Floyd Rose one of the Locking Bridge Saddled sticks...
VERY Badly.. Every time I change strings I have to pry it open with a small flathead screwdriver or a tiny nail..I literally have to hammer it open.
Help :)

You have, according to Jon in previous posts (to the best of my knowledge), been tightening up the saddles too tight, and this is an after effect of this action. I would harp on you about it, but truth be told, I'm just as guilty of it as you are. :)

Two things that I can suggest would be:

1. Once you have it open, put the tip of a pencil in there, and get the graphite in there. I did this with a few of my locked-up saddles back in December, and it helped out; it didn't make it perfect, but it freed it up a bit.

2. Get you some of this stuff: http://www.outdoorsuperstore.com/st...isplay~REMINGTON~REM-OIL~productID~281626.htm

This is the stuff that NorM uses on his metals, and as of this weekend, allowed me to submerse my Floyd parts on my EVH in. I had one saddle that was kinda tough to move at the joint, and it freed it up fully, as well as the fact that it got more dirt and grime out of the parts like you wouldn't believe. I'm a believer...and a can of this will go a long way.

Hope I've helped out here, and as always, open for correction.... :)ß

Truth be told I never overt tighten the Bridge... I just over tighten the Nut!!! :D
On my older guitars I stripped Counless nut screws...... Until the Tech at Carruthers in LA yelled at me. :) Any how Thanks for the advice. I will Try it.

like jon said........they have mushroomed from overtightening.
you may actually be able to sand them square again...unless the hammer overdid it...

put a sheet of 320 grit paper on a sturdy flat table top ..... and rub the sides of the block on the flat paper . just do a little at a time......it wont take much. just keep checking the fit til it drops in. this also removes the grooves created by overtightening......& holds the string better.
also...you only need to do the sides of the block. no need to do the top & bottom.
