Off Topic Stuck screws in Gotoh 1996t

Hi,

Am wanting to put a heavier brass block on a Gotoh tremolo, however two of the three screws that secure the block to the bridge (accessed under the saddles), are stuck. If I try any harder with a screwdriver, I’ll ruin the head of the screw. I have socked them in WD-40.

Any suggestions?

I'm no expert, but I'm fairly sure that brass expands more quickly than steel. So if you could gently heat up the block somehow, the screws might unseize themselves, or at least be easier to undo.
