Anyone have these issues on a Majesty? I just moved from a dry climate up north down to FL where it's much more humid, even in climate control. Predictably, an adjustment was required. BUT.. I can't get more than a hair of relief. I even tried to help it by doing the old trick of grabbing the neck and pushing in opposite directions. Didn't really budge at all. This is a 20th so my concern level is more so than it usually would be. I'm going to let it sit overnight and check it again but figured I'd seek some input here in the meantime. Maybe there is another trick I am unaware of.

There's no real trick ... you've reduced the tension and encouraged the neck to settle. Maybe time to give the customer support folks a call. See my signature for the link.

After waiting a couple of days, the neck didn't get any more relief with the rod loose, so I returned it to GC. The neck was still darned near dead flat. Luckily I was only 30 days into the 45 day policy. Win there. The bigger win was they had one 7 string dragons blood flame top BFR new in box in distribution. Snagged that and got a hefty discount because of being a discontinued model. I still have my regular JP6 20th (Thanks Pete!) so I am not without a 20th. They did have 3 20th Majesties left in distribution in the boxes but this scenario was a perfect example of why neck-thru guitars are a riskier proposition. So, I'll hold off on getting a Majesty again for a while. All in all, I am better off after than I was before. Have a chunk of money on credit with GC that I can put towards my next EBMM.

Oh.. and I remember when MM customer service used to be super responsive. Not a peep back from them.

By any chance, you returned it at Winter Park/ Orlando? I saw a Majesty last night with that exact description/model. Saw the price and asked about it and they told me about the truss rod. Just did a google search about repair a Majesty truss rod and got here to this thread lol
