I should know this but I can't seem to find the answer on the forum search mode.

Do all the BFR F1s have the piezo? My recollection is that they all had all the "options" - inlays, matching headstock etc.

Am I right?

Well, I've ordered two - Blackburst (which I ordered first) and Walnutburst (which I ordered today) Sadly, I'll have to sell my other two Pets to help finance the deal but hey, I'm not made of money (sadly)

Bahama Blueburst is lovely, but I can't quite see myself playing it - I need to be a bit less "visible" (if you know what I mean). If you can play like JP, then you can have any colour you like, but I can't and so I don't want to set myself up for a fall (live, that is) - it's why I could never see myself playing a JEM live.

Seeing (and hearing) JP playing them at the DT gig in Newcastle at the weekend convinced me that I had to have another. GAS! What an awful disease it is!

TWO??! I'm jealous and you're spoiled! Why two? Are you getting a 6 and a 7? Or are you just aware that these will be the greatest guitars ever produced and figured you'd stock up? Either way, I'm sad with only one normal JP6 on order :( These forums make me feel poor.

Congrats! Wait it out!

You're right guys - I am spoiled  but I just have the feeling that these guitars are going to eclipse anything and everything I've ever owned. Just from the look, the sound and the sheer quality of EBMM guitars in general makes me think the BFRs are going to be something very, very special.

And I am going to have sell my other JP6s (sadly but the books just won't balance any other way). Plus, I've sacrificed nearly 20 years of my life climbing up the medical profession's greasy pole, so I feel I owe myself something for all that toil.

I need (!!!) two - one for E and Eb tuning and the other for D and C tuning - I just can't be bothered to completely re-string and re-set up every time I play songs out of standard tuning.

Also I don't know whether they will be produced in limited numbers or for a limited time (same thing really), so I don't want to take the chance of not getting them whilst I can - I can't imagine too many people will re-sell them once they get them and if they do, they may have a premium on them.

That's my set of excuses anyway...can anybody think of any others?

I can think of a couple:
-You won't be able to sleep at night knowing such awesome guitars are out there and you don't have any.
-God (through his emissaries:Ernie Ball Music Man) has created these beautiful guitars and it's only proper for us to worship him buy owning them.
-You really really want one!!!!!!!

Or at least that's how I'll justify my future purchase!!

Go ahead. Treat yourself. I definitely understand the greasy pole analogy for the medical profession. All I'm going to say is that maybe you need more than two guitars. :D That way you can optimize the set-ups for all the guitars in all the tunings. (Why is there no smiley with devil's horns?) :D
