I went to buy gun stock oil today to do my necks for the 1st time....- to be prompted with the question which type...

I know someone posted it before and it's on the FAQ but I'm either getting more tired or more dump can someone please tell me the recomended brand /model etc.
please?

there appears to be regular and true oil -which is best?

and they all say CAUTION: - combustable.... anyone had bad experiences.... I don't want cause of death on my certificate to read "died whilst polishing his balls"

The Birchwood and Casey label also says "This product is known to the state of California to cause cancer." thank god we don't live in California.

But at least you'd die happy. :D :p

No problems here. I just make sure I use the gunstock oil in a well ventilated area away from any flames or heat sources.

My dad is a big hunting enthusaist. I remember him stinking up the house when he cleaned his guns. Using gunstock oil on my EBMM's brings that back everytime. But then, the exposure to the fumes probably explains the irreversable brain damage.

You have to take care when disposing of the paper towels used when applying said unguents.
There is a possible chance of combustion. So a good tip is to dispose of the towels outside when you are done.
