Sub-1 neck profile

What profile does the SUB-1 neck have? Is it the same as a Silo?

I'd say that it is reasonably close to a Silhouette Special.

There have already been a lot of brothers here on various threads claiming it's basically the same neck. And I would want to believe, that this is true...

However, owning both models, I think they're slightly different. That might just be my own feeling or the fact that one is coated and the other one natty...yet still, I'd say they are very similar, but not the same.

Spud did a thread where forumites contributed to uploading some EBMM neck profiles, look through this thread ( hint, page three ) and you will see the sub 1 and the silhouette special neck profiles. They appear the same to me.

(But we already know that they are the same exact necks since the Sub1 was based on the Silo Spec.)

don't know if they are perfectly symetrical or not... they don't appear to be asymetrical like the Silo....

(Sub1 = better than many with all the fluff)

Aaaahh....that's what I didn't get. So it's because of the asymmetry of the Silo Standard's neck, which differs from the Silo Special. That would be the reason why I think the SUB's and the Silo's (Standard) necks are different.
