I'm just curious (in case I decide to buy one of these)
If the Sub is a more "production" guitar meaning there are not as many possible combinations when compared to it's siblings that are more made to order. If I were to order one so that I could get a specific colour and pickguard would I still have to wait 3 months???
Or are they stocked up a bit?

The lead time is around three months. The options that are available are color, bridge, pickups, and pickguard.

Yes, I am already aware of the options. I was just wondering if the waiting time might be quicker than the other production models since the SUB was is say, more generic!
So basically it's the same wait as the other models.
Thanks guys!!! :D

LOL!!! :D
I dare not piss off the Sub 1 watch dog! ;)
You know what I mean. The options aren't as endless as some of the other models. Just a few textured colours, fretboard is automatically rosewood.

....and that's just the way I like it!

Actually, I just came back from drooling in the window of a guitar shop that has 2 Subs and 2 Silos hanging on the wall! :D

Bah, it's still a music man. Generic? No

Sorry. That's not quite what I meant. I couldn't find the words to describe what I was trying to say. Being that it's EBMM's entry level guitar, it doesn't have as many options as it's big brothers!

I'm seriously thinking of getting one of these, so being the kind of person I am, "generic" wouldn't fit the bill!

Listen foggy, I haven't touched my JP7 in days, I've been playing my SUB 1 endlessly...in fact I cannot wait to get home and play...true the tonelab has helped, I'm a tone pig, but the feel of this guitar just seems so right, and I'm using all 3 pup positions...I never ever used the middle position, and now I'm hanging there for stretches...bro get a SUB1...I know I promised soundclips...but once I get in my room, I 'm lost :D

Don't worry about the soundclips! I'll probably post some before you! :p

Soooon enough I will have a EBMM of some sort!
I'm just waiting for some financial things to get straightened around then I'll probably go on a dealer rampage and just grab the nicest one available instead of ordering!!!!
