I really want to get my hands around one. I need a work horse that can take plenty of wear n' tear!

i had the opportunity to buy one when they first came out and i didn't... i can kick myself in the butt many times over... now i want one. I happy with the two that i have but having a sub would make it easier to practice without worry about dinging up my ebmm... (yes i'm that paranoid)

Funny enough, that was actually the FIRST EBMM I ever played in GC before they started to stock all the other Balls. It was at that point that I was (still am of course) into Morse and was obsessed with having an EBMM, but there were none around. I ended up with a Silhouette which was a great guitar, but playing the SUB really confirmed the fact that these were (ARE) amazing instruements...considering that this was the lower budget model.

I would not be able to live properly without my Silo Special though...that one to me is a work horse. That would probably be my desert island guitar.

I'm a relative n00b to the EBMM world but my Sub1 was my first MM guitar and it's great. I have quickly been converted to the Axis as I have found that it was designed specifically for my hands (nice touch there BP) but the Sub is still a great axe. I love mine.

They're a great guitar also because if you "project" it, you don't lose a gazillion dollars if you decide to sell it. I'm in my 2nd phase of projecting mine....just got the pickups and switch into the pickguard yesterday.....

Yep SUB is a great little guitar, rock solid and great sounding pups, my only issue and this is not just the SUB, but any of the painted necks just dont agree with me, still killer guitars and under rated:)

I have a SUB 5 on its way(got it for under $250 total!) and I'm brainstorming on what to do to it. Awesome basses AND guitars.
