Hello-
I recently purchased a used SUB 1. After having compared it to my other guitars (Reverend Slingshot & Tele Plus) after longer gigs, I noticed that I have little or no fatigue in my left hand, something that I have been experiencing lately after playing the aforementioned guitars. (I attribute the fatigue to less all-around playing, not a medical condition......that's what having kids does to you!)

Anyhoo, while I really love the SUB, I prefer single coil guitars. So my question would be while the physical dimensions are the same (as per the EB website) between the Silo and the Sub, can anybody comment as to whether the neck carve is the same? I can't find a Silhouette locally to compare.

Thanks and I look forward to any comments you may have!

EBMM necks are legendary for their comfort. Check out silo special and alber lee sig. aka Strat Killer. I found Silo and SUB1 necks to be similar, but not identical. Silo's neck is also "naked" (wax&gun stock oil) rather then painted.

I own both and they are very similiar, the radius and dimensions are the same but the silo might be a bit thinner, at least on mine but I have found all the necks are slightly different anyway, remember they are hand sanded, I like the silo better because its unfinished and the body has a drop so its way comfy for the right arm, mine is hum single single -

Many thanks for the responses so far! The Sub 1 really is a great guitar with excellent build quality and comfort to boot. I am constantly surprised that used SUB's go for $300-$350 on ebay......that's a great bargain.
