The Sterling SUB is a less expensive version of the Sterling with a lot of the same attributes as the regular SUB. The suggested selling price will be $ 695 US.

34" scale
22 frets
Poplar Body
Black Painted Neck
Rosewood Fingerboard
Diamond plate or Matte Black Pickguard
7 Select Textured Finish options

It will feature a slimmer profile neck and 3 band active electronics only. A 3 way switch will not be available on this version.

We hope this bass will be in the store late
spring.

Very interesting! I guess the standard SUB textured colors are the only ones available for this, right?

Now, I am really curious, in your opinion is this a better bass than the SUB 2 which I now own. The description is very close to the SUB, also; less expensive as far as retail price goes. I really like the idea of the slimmer profile neck.
