Sub neck pup in the silo

As much as I love the neck pickup in my sub, I've thought about sticking one in the neck of my silo. It is very smoothe and milky, and on the bass side, which I love.

My question is, would it's sound change much in a silhouette, due to it being 24 frets and alder instead of poplar. Also what about the pots? If it could maintain that same sound, it'll make this silo straight out of heaven for me

How are the the neck pickups different from a SUB1 to a Silohouette? I thought that they were basically the same.

Definitely not, at least to my ears. I think the neck in my silo is quite a bit brighter and has more highs than the one in the sub.

I think the Sub pickups are made by EBMM, rather than Dimarzio.
