Hi All!
I have a SUB active bass and think it is fantastic bit of gear. I love how it just does the job with no fuss. It is a bass I can pickup and sound like... me!
Knowing that SUB and Stingray pickups are usually wired in parallel to get the full sound spectrum and to drop the impedance into the preamp, Iv'e started about the SUB passive...
Having a parallel passive pickup probably is not a good recipe for strong output and there is no preamp to boost the lows etc, I figured it would be smarter to have the pickup in series...
Does anyone have a SUB passive out there and can verify if the pickup is in series or parallel?
