Hi all, sorry if I am repeating anything that has been asked before, i had a look through past posts but didnt see any definitive answers, so here goes!

I might be buying a sub1 guitar with a single bridge pickup. I am not a fan of the single pickup (gotta have the neck for the smooth stuff), but i might be able to get one at a good price. (Im in the uk so Ernie balls are pretty expensive at the best of times).

I just need to know if
1.Replacement pickguards for the sub are avaliable (preferably not in the diamond plate!)
2.How is the guitar routed...i think i read HH somewhere
3.Is the neck similar in profile to the axis!

Cheers!

I have two Silos and two Sub1's and initially, to look at them you may notice a slight size diff. but once you start wailin, there's nothing to keep you from stoppin...on both I might add...congrats on your new purchase!

The rumored sub 1 deal is intresting too!

As long as you buy an EBMM :D

This just came to me, a SUB1 w/ S-S-S config, now wouldn't that be sweet! :D

If the SUB1 has universal routing, then I wouldn't mind trading it in for my Ibanez. and then change the pickguard to accomodate the S-S-S (or H-S-S) config.

I tried the $400 SUB in GC and I loved the feel of that guitar.

Can someone confirm?

From Google (and previous postings of EBMM Techs), it seems to be 2H's.

Anyone have any idea how long GC will run the blowout. My da is going out at the start of feb, and i could send him to pick one up, but thats a bit useless if the offer is off!
Oh and if anyone is selling an axis silo or sub $700 max give me a shout!

If I lived in the USA I would gladly run down, by a SUb1 (I'd have to test it first though :D ) then ship it to you bro...hopefully someone will step up...or you can try starting a new thread asking for someone to do it...once you send them the cash, the rest is easy...now if at the end, you're still without...maybe I can part with one of my Sub's  ...I know it hurts, but hey, the world needs Ernie Balls!

Good idea man, i just might do that, although being new to these forums im not really sure how reverse spam threads go down...is it generally considered ok?
I can get a sub new for about £400 in the uk ($800+) they are usualy £500 ($1000+ ) so if i could, i would pick two up at $400 each, I would get one for my bro to replace his wolfgang qt :D
