Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a secondhand black 2 humbucker SUB1 guitar with tremolo. Trouble is, the guy forgot to send me the trem arm. Since it was over eBay, I might never hear from him again, so I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to get a replacement whammy bar? Anything else that fits?

Another question: not that I don't like the sound of the guitar, which I do, but I've been toying with the idea of replacing the bridge PUP with a DiMarzio D Sonic. Has anyone else done it? How do they compare? Do I need an F-spaced version? And what does this mean: (Quote) The D Sonic™ is more than just a one-sound pickup, too. In addition to the standard series humbucking sound, DiMarzio's patented design utilizes 4-conductor wiring to access two different single-coil sounds plus parallel humbucking mode, for three additional sounds that are distinctive and versatile. (End Quote). How does one access single-coil sounds?

Ok, that's it for now. Thanks for your help. Stay cool!

Your local EBMM dealer should be able to get a trem arm or you could contact customer service directly and they can get you one.

To access the single coil split with a new pick-up you'd have to install some type of coil tap/switching mechanism (mini-toggle, push pull pot, re-wiring the existing toggle, etc.) Can't help you out on the tone issue, but good luck.

Congratulations! The Sub is a fine guitar, the most underrated. If you change pickups, PM me, I want them ;)
