- GRAPHITE finish I think
- HH pickups
- hardtail

Perfect addition and freshest member of my bunch-o-balls

I had myself a nice little tour from Munich/Bavaria/Germany (Oktoberfest Country) into the Austrian Alps to pick it up personally last night. Was a nice trip of about 6 hours in the car 'til I got back home... I'm sooooo tired today, but it really paid off - the SUB is in like-new condition, two sets of strings, an EB strap and a BASS CASE were included in the price that was a steal after all...
...yeah, tired but happy

'f course. Price was € 400,- on the bay and I gave the seller an extra € 20,- to bring it a little nearer to the German/Austrian border so I had not to drive that long last night...

Dunno why that guy I bought it from put it in there, but I don't mind. It's pretty well made case - rock solid. I'm still looking for a good deal on a Silhouette bass guitar, so I'll keep that case anyway. Hmm, good deal on Silhouette bass guitar - there's not many around, so a good deal might be hard to fin... ...ooops, hijacked my own thread again...

Just gave the above shown SUB1 HH hardtail a ride on the amp, and boy - SUB1_ZERO wasn't promising too much about the neck PU. This thing is just one big hell of a bang for the buck.
MAN do I like it !!!

Anyone still unsure about getting a NOS or used SUB1 - DON'T hesitate. They're twice worth every single penny you spend on them !

Nice Axilla. I noticed you changed the knobs? Are these EB Tele knobs, or an other brand?

Owned - yes I changed the knobs cuz I absolutely dislike that st-RAT like plastic garbage...

I actually don't know what brand the knobs are, but they are somehow different. They feature a solid metal outer knob with high polish chrome and good grip to the sides, but a heavy duty polymer inside ready to be stuck directly on the pot without the need to tighten a screw or slt...
Actually pretty much all my EBMMs feature them (as a replecement) - I buy them at our forumite Mick's shop (MGC - Mick's Guitar Center) in Landshut/Bavaria.
