Help! Suggested Pedals?

Although this has nothing to do with MusicMan guitars, (Which I apologize for. :( ), I am just curious of what are some decent analog pedals out there.

I am currently using a Boss GT-6 Multi Effects Processor. Sure, it's been a good pedal over the years, but I am currently looking for different Analog pedals.

Really, I want something that will carry out sustain for leads, but yet is very solid and tight.

Also, if you know of any other effects pedals, such as delays, flangers etc... Please post them. :D

MI Audio are definitely great pedals - The Blues Pro (overdrive) and Crunchbox (cranked Marshall distortion) are my favourites. Check out the soundclips at ProGuitarShop:

He asked for tight leads, which is why I didn't recommend the Crunchbox. That's an awesome rhythm pedal there... My fav for rhythm. Nice, loose and dynamic. But for tightening the tone and focus, I find the TZOD to be more applicable... I couple the TZOD as a booster and a tone changer with the crunchbox myself...

Analog pedals are awesome for tone. Some of my favorites are below.

AS far as something for sustain, I wholeheartedly suggest the Fulltone Fulldrive 2. It is a great overdrive/boost pedal and very transparent. It does not change my tone in any way when I use it, but it tightens things up and increases the sustain. It also has a setting for boost, so you can kick it in for leads and get that volume increase. Hardwire bypass too.

Chorus: again, the Fulltone choral flnge is the best I have heard for this effect. Hardwire bypass too, so it is out of the chain when not using it.

Delay: I love the MXR Carbon Copy. Totally analog, and you get those great analog delay sounds from yesteryear. No tone coloration and hardwire bypass, plus a reasonable cost. I think the best analog delay out there is the Home Brew Electronics Mimic Mock 2, wth the mimic RTC mod. Awesome pedal but a bit pricey.

This would fall into the "other pedals" category, but how about trying an Ernie Ball Wah. I really dig mine. I think you'll dig yours too.
 
I'd suggest an RC Booster from xotic.

Best boost I've ever tried...

I also love my Hartman compressor, it adds a little bit of grit with the compression.. beautiful.
 
I swore off all pedals about 8 years ago, but now I rarely play without running through this guy's TS9 (chose the Maxon cuz it already has true bypass). I LOVE this pedal. It comes with the original TS808 NOS JRC 4558D op-amp, plus 3 other interchangeable chips, used at different periods of the good ole TS's history. But there's more to the mod than the chip. Read on if interested. Ken is a straight up guy and delivers the goods.

For leads, I'd highly recommend the Xotic Effects BB Preamp. Its the same pedal that Andy Timmons uses, and fellow forumite Rich B recommended it to me and I couldn't be happier with it. I use it to add sustain and a liquid feel to my leads, but I also use it to tighten up my Mark IV and add that slightly compressed sound. Its a great pedal.

As for a phaser, I love my MXR EVH Phase 90. It doesn't have that nasty clipping that the regular Phase 90 has, plus its got two modes. I also have the MXR EVH Flanger which I also love. Both are amazing.

For Chorus, I'm using the MXR Stereo Chorus (the big yellow brick) and I love it. Very cool for thickening up my cleans and playing those huge Alex Lifeson chords. Can't you tell I love the MXR stuff? Haha.

I'm not sure exactly what tone or sound that you're looking for but I find that my Keeley Compressor (4-knob variety) into either my Radial Trimode or Keeley TS9 (808 Mod) gives me the tone that sounds right to my ears and sustain that seems to go on forever.

MI Audio pedals are great. I use a Blue Boy deluxe, kicks ass, I prefer it to the Blues Pro and Tube Zone, it was tube screamer tone and then some. I also use a Fulltone Fulldrive II and Keely Super Overdrive, and a Digitech Bad Monkey- its pretty good you know!!!

Want to get my hands on a Zendrive, a RC Booster and an Ulbrick Megalodon

Can you give a more comprehensive comparison between the BB Deluxe and the Blues Pro? I'm thinking of getting one of these, but would like to hear a side-by-side comparison from people who have both.
