Just wanted to stop by and say I'm still in love with my Music Man Luke III. It's probably one of the most versatile guitar I've ever played. Here's a video of me playing a cover of Sultans of Swing with it.

Wow! That must have taken a while to get down. Way to go. Perfecto!! Awesome.
Thanks so much! Yes it did take a while to get down, but only because I wanted to try to play it exactly like he did in the studio recording. I just hope I did it justice. I watched every video I could to catch the exact notes and positions he played different parts, but it was hard because live, he just played the parts randomly and even added new licks on the fly.. lol. Anyway, it's challenging but definitely a fun song to learn.

Nice vibrato you have mate. Great work. Neck and middle position? Or middle and bridge?
Thanks man!! Appreciate that! I used the second position (middle/bridge) like Mark Knopfler used when recording the song. He used a Stat of course, but the Music Man guitars are so great, you can pull off any sound with them!

Great feel and soul!!
Thanks!! That's the biggest compliment I could ever receive. I truly try to say something with each note, and in this case, it's trying to recreate the feel of what Knopfler had on the original song. I'm just hoping I captured a fraction of his feeling on this great song!

Thanks again guys!! I highly recommend a Luke III model, as I said, it can sound like any guitar I want and plays like a dream!!
