Sunburst EVHs

There is a cherry sunburst EVH on ebay right now.

I was wondering, was that the only multi-color top EBMM EVH that was made?

This one is probably pretty rare???

I know it ain't rare because I used to owe three of them!! Also, I wouldn't pay 2000 bucks for an EVH described as an 8 out of 10.

was it really purple when you got it? that faded a lot! what would cause that, direct sunlight? nice top!!!

Isn't that the one that was on the 'Bay, the guy said that it sat in the window of a guitar store for some time, hence the fading?

Nope, i bought it last year in Boston, at the Guitar center. And the top was already like that. That's why i get it. There were 3 EVHs: Black, yellow (like Ed's) and this one. No hesitation!

The quilt on it is awesome....nice and fluid like. The color obviously has issues, but, I personally would have bought it myself. It is not the color that makes the sound (even though it makes you look good... ).
