Sunday Blues

Inspired by Tristan's amazing composition I just spent an hour putting down a "tasteful" bluesy number with my honeyburst Axis. The first half is clean and then I crank up the gain and the speed. There are a few flubbs but basically it came out OK, although it's not in the same league as Tristan's stuff - give me a few more years before I can play like that!

All of the recording was done through Guitar Rig 2.

If you gotta steal then steal from the best! I often try to sneak a bit of Gary Moore and George Lynch in somewhere...

Yeah i love Gary Moore, there is one solo of his i really like which i tend to steal from, i think its Cold Day in Hell, COOL SOLO! he's such a monster player.

Luckily its electric! I only have an acoustic as a money making venture! And the fact I got it very cheap!

Black Velvet? Playing that song in cover bands nearly forced me to commit Harri Kari. My Sharona on the other hand is a song I never get tired of playing. Have you ever seen what the real Sharona looks like? Sharona Alperin - Specializing in West LA Real Estate

Hey, Black Velvet may not be so hip as a song but it's got really cool bass. Really great fretless....mmmwwaaaa. So I have enjoyed playing it, when I've been forced to....happens all the time hehe.

Ahhhh another Canadian Singer yah it still gets played in rotation on Canadian airways to boot! Black Velvet was HUGE for her,And i saw that song live when she was in Moncton New Brunswick good show she put on
