wOw, my mind cannot even comprehend something like that.

As far as the Sting ray goes, I would like to know if that is even an official production model. The headstock logo makes me think it could be fake. I don't know, it just seems weird.

I think it's pretty clear that they had to re-do the headstock after taking off the old finish and applying nitro.

Stupid effin' thing to do in the first place, really. In any case, that is probably a decal they jimmied up. The originals are screened on so look a bit different - I mean, the originals are not decals at all.

"Custom" work usually detracts from the price. I urge anyone who wants to customize their bass in some way to go right ahead - it's your tool, make it do what you want. But don't expect it will "add" to the value when you decide to sell it; it will in fact do just the opposite.

And that is, yes, I'm going to say it, one ugly Stingray.
