Hey,
I've been using the pink 9s for a number of years but now with the last two sets I'm having a problem (with the same guitar I've been using with them for years - Fender Strat Plus): on the first gig/rehearsal I played the high E kept detuning down so I was tuning it up constantly but in the end it was the ball on the end of the string that was progressively getting unwind until it fell off completely.
I recently bought 4 sets of the 9s. When it put on the first set, it was right before a gig and it happened, the ball fell off after the gig when I was figuring out why I was playing out of tune the whole gig even though I tuned constantly. So I thought, ok, a bad string, that happens. I put on the next complete new set, went to rehearsal and bam, the same thing happened. So I'm going to return the 2 remaining sets...
Is this like a known bad batch of strings? I'm based in Prague, bought from http://kytary.cz. Any similar reports?
I made no changes on my guitar and this is absolutely the first time (and second time right after it) that this happened to me...
