To the best of my memory, Sabre basses were not really produced for that long, or were they? And I hope Truss RodBroken can help me here with his intense knowledge on early Music Man basses, but apart from these being a "souped up" version of the StingRay with double humbuckers, and the fact that this double H feature was well ahead of it's time, in fact, in those days recording studios hated active basses as a matter of principal, you can imagine way back then how such a bass was percieved, but all in consideration, what was so special about them and why are they so sought after these days, even more than pre-EB Rays?

I have been having a giggle at this one since AussieMark placed it on the CraigList/Ebay thread. With 5 pickups its obviously been modified and therefore the value lowered. Maybe he will trade for an old Holden Torana and a slab. Strewth!
