Hi everyone,
This is my first post and a brief note of how I have come to join the ranks of Music Man ownership.
For the past month, I had my eye on a BFR Petrucci at The Guitar Shop in Mississauga, Canada. I had played it a few times and loved it, but was a little hesitant to buy myself such a gift, with all of the other spending that comes with this time of the year.
Anyway, yesterday, the day before Christmas, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. But, when on checked on The Guitar Shop's website, it was listed as sold! Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed. Brent at the store indicated to me that it was sold just the day before to someone who, by coincidence, had the same first name as me.
Anyway, the last present for me under the Christmas tree this morning was a little box from my wife and kids which I guessed was a tie to go with the shirts that I had received. Much to my surprise, in the box was the orange Certificate of Authenticity for the Petrucci that I had wanted at The Guitar Shop. My wife quickly disappeared into the other room and came back holding that nice vintage looking case with my BFR Petrucci in it.
Thanks to my wife and kids and to Brent at The Guitar Shop for playing along!
What a Surprise!
