Switch from "Tele" knobs to "Strat" knobs?

Hey guys, I'm finding that the placement of the volume knobs on my AL and AxisSS (both w/ piezo) are getting in the way a bit when I try to play some muted rhythms - U2 type of stuff. Can these taller knobs be swapped out for the lower strat-type knobs?

I thought I remember Jon saying that the pots would need to be changed to ones with split shafts (or was that just for axis sports?), but I wanted to make sure...

Dave, nope, Jon changed mine on my AL from the strat style to the tele type and he told me just as you mentioned. That he had to change the split post pots to solid post pots.

Dave, according to OC you can get them just about anywhere. You just need to know the particulars and they're pretty cheap. You current ones should have all of the information on them you'll need to replace them. I'd use that info and do a quick Google search.
